Entering a Function’s Arguments Tooltip in a Cell
You can press
Ctrl+Shift+A
in mid-entry of your worksheet functions to show their tooltips’ argument text directly in your cell, and type your function arguments right over those text tips.
Step 1
Start by entering the function name, followed by the open parentheses character.
The function’s arguments tooltip appears as usual.

I dragged the tooltip away from the cell in this example.
